Leadership

Dr. Murphy Matheny and Twila Matheny provide the senior leadership for the Cedar Lake team of pastors and staff.  Pastor Murphy was raised in a family of ministers and missionaries and received his call from God at an early age.  He served as Youth Pastor at Cedar Lake before rising to Senior Pastor when Pastor Kenneth Broadus retired in 2001.  Since then, they have led the Cedar Lake family to be a church with no walls, a spiritual family with a heart for global missions.  Twila has been leading in ministry for many years, and together, they bring over 50 years of ministry experience to the pastorate.  They are excited about the days ahead and trust in God’s wisdom and direction in their lives as they lead Cedar Lake Church into a future of effective ministry.
