WHAT IS CEDAR LAKE KIDS?
Cedar Lake Kids offers a safe, age appropriate place every Sunday where all children (babies through 6th grade) can discover and develop a passion for God through worship, Bible teachings, small groups, and a variety of fun activities. Children are taught God’s Word and challenged to grow in their relationship with Him. We would love to see you and your family visit Cedar Lake Kids this Sunday.
A WORLD WHERE KIDS MEET JESUS ON THEIR LEVEL
YOUR FIRST VISIT
Follow the signs to our check-in area for all families. We will meet your family, check your child into our database system, and one of our volunteers will lead your family and child to their age-appropriate room.
We will ask for the following personal information: family members' names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.
HOW CHECK-IN WORKS
You may check in your child at any available station. After finding your child's name in the database, you and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will then wear the name tag portion while you keep the matching tag. After the service, you will return to your child's room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
In the event that we need to contact you during the service, your child's identification code will appear on the screen in the main auditorium. We ask that you exit the auditorium promptly and look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child's room.
WHAT WE VALUE
Creative Bible Teaching
The Bible is the most amazing book ever written! We strive to bring its stories to life through media, activities, discussions and live storytelling that keep children engaged. We want all children to love God’s word and understand the value of applying it to their lives.
We value children’s relationships within the small group setting as they relate to their leader and other kids in the group. As families commit to attending the same service each week, children are placed in a group of familiar faces where relationships can grow.
Our environments and lesson materials are created in a way your child can understand and grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Every child’s name tag is matched to a parent-identification number, every volunteer is screened with an interview and federal background check, and every hallway is monitored by security personnel.
Kids love fun! We realize that when children have fun at church, they can’t wait to come back. We value creating fun ways for children to learn about Jesus, including games, activities, singing, and live acting.
